soucek residence - scheme #1 - arizona (unbuilt)

This was the first design for a second home in Arizona for a writer.  The design derives from a collaborative effort with David Towbin and Associates who was also the original architect of record, but who subsequently passed away. This scheme is my effort to complete the project. It is a more formal design than the later scheme #2 - another way of connecting to the raw desert setting The materials are poured concrete, steel, wood and glass.  It has not yet been built.
